In 1969 Clarence Fishbaugh decided after spending over 20 years in the commercial and industrial construction field that the time was right to take his vast experience and build his first home for sale to the public.  In the early years Clarence was for the most part a one man company by day he worked in the field building the homes and in the evening he spent designing and pricing the homes for potential clients.  Dan and Rick, his two sons (who were in school at the time Clarence began) spent many weekends and evenings helping out their father.  Dan joined his father in business shortly after graduating, while Rick went on to college and later worked at a Fortune 500 company.  Rick eventually joined his father and brother in the family business.

Today, Dan and Rick lead the company with guidance from their father.  Fishbaugh Homes is a custom homebuilder with offices located in Middletown, Ohio.  We build in our home town of Middletown, as well as in the City of Springboro, and Warren, Butler and Montgomery Counties.  We build in several communities and we will also build on rural sites.

In the early years Clarence developed a reputation of building high quality homes with attention to the little details, and exceeding the expectations of his clients.  Those same core principals that guided Clarence Fishbaugh in the early years of Fishbaugh Homes are still present today and carried on by his two sons Dan and Rick.  We constantly striving to develop that perfect design, one that can be provide as many options our potential client’s desire and a home that can be built at an affordable price.  We have found that while our market continues to grow and individuals needs change, we have been able to develop over twenty-five plans that our clients can quickly modify to meet their individual needs and life style.

Working with a registered architect, the Fishbaugh Homes team can offer customers a wide variety of home designs.  "We can customize one of our plans, or take a customer's ideas or requirements and create an entirely customized home," says Rick Fishbaugh.  "Our approach has always been we're not building our house; we're building your home."  In addition, Fishbaugh Homes offers the services of Beth Spegal, owner of House Dressings (an interior designer) to assist the new homeowners in color selections and interiors.  "Beth has been a true asset," says Rick, "Beth has the ability to make the entire selection process a fun and exciting time for the homeowner, who it should be."
